Ranya Marjieh, LMHC, LPC
Founder, Metropolitan Psychotherapy | New York | Connecticut
Ranya Marjieh is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience in psychodynamic psychotherapy. She holds two master’s degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling.
Her early clinical work took place in psychiatric emergency services, where she conducted acute risk assessments and diagnostic evaluations within hospital settings. The pace and complexity of that work shaped a disciplined and discerning clinical lens.
She later trained at The Renfrew Center in both Greenwich and New York City locations working within a multidisciplinary model treating complex eating disorders and related presentations.
She subsequently joined a private practice in Greenwich, Connecticut where she provided psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and older members of the community. During this time, she was invited to participate in community mental health panels, speak at local events, and consult with clergy to strengthen connections between faith communities and mental health care.
She later expanded her work to Manhattan, where she established her independent practice serving accomplished professionals navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, and relational strain within high-performance environments.
In addition to her clinical work, she currently serves on a Board of Clinical Advisors providing mental health consultation to Fortune 500 organizations through employer-sponsored care navigation.
